Cosmopolitan Blend Perfection Sponge Review (Beauty Blender Dupe)

Hello again!
In my recent order from Superdrug, I finally bought the much raved about beauty blender. I wasn't too sure about this sponge as I just didn't believe that by wetting a sponge and using it to put on your foundation was going to work at all. I was so wrong!
I absolutely loooove this blender, it really does give your skin that airbrushed finish and applies your foundation flawlessly and evenly every time. It doesn't leave any sponge marks either. I find that when I use brushes, they sometimes leave brush lines, so that is why I thought I would try the beauty blender. Obviously this Beauty Blender is the knock off version of the real one which costs about £26, so this one for £4.99 is pretty damn good if I do say so myself!
The pointed tip is brilliant for getting under your eyes and in the corners of your nose, I also like using it for concealing blemishes as it is more precise. The rounded bottom is so good for all over your face, I just wet the the sponge and squeeze out the water, pour my foundation onto the back of my hand, dab the beauty blender into it and bounce it off my face, like it tells you to in the instructions.
Definitely go and buy one, you'll be surprised how good it is!

  1. I've heard a lot of good things about these sponges, but I'm just so used to using brushes! Love the shape of this one though, and that price is excellent :) Great review!

  2. I definitely want to pick one of these up, I don't think I could spend so much on the original version, but £4.99 for this one is a bargain!

  3. Ooh might have to keep an eye out for this next time I'm in Superdrug then! I bought the Real Techniques core collection a while back and am definitely NOT blown away by the foundation brush. I love the buffing and contour brushes but the foundation brush is really not much cop (in my opinion). So still on the hunt for the perfect thing to apply my foundation with!

  10. I have been trying to decide if I should try this or not for quite a while now. I don't think I have ever used a make up sponge so that might be what is putting me off...it does sound really interesting, I might give one a go :)
