Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Cleanser Review ♥

Hello, I hope you are looking forward to the week ahead, I am full of the cold and I have no energy to do anything, reading blogs and drinking plenty of tea is definitely on the cards! I will hopefully be getting my new laptop today, yeeey, I'm excited! I hope you like today's product review, let me know what you think!
I was recently sent this cleanser from Escentual, when I first used this product, my skin was in the middle of a horrible breakout, I hardly ever get spots but if I do I only get one at a time, this time I had about 4/5, one of which lasted an entire month (it was so sore and horrible!). So I was a bit dubious about trying out a new product on my sensitive skin, especially from a brand I had never used before, however, I am so glad I did! I was pleased to read on the back of the bottle that this product has 'Excellent skin tolerability and efficacy proven on patients with blemish and acne prone skin' so I felt confident that my skin was being looked after and it wouldn't get any worse than it already was. This product is soap and fragrance free which is great for sensitive skin. It removes any dirt, makeup & excess sebum (excess oil) from your skin.
I use it by wetting my face with warm water, I then squeeze a 50 pence piece size of product onto the blue rubber exfoliator (pictured above, which I got free in a recent Avon order), I rub the soapy gel into my skin for about a minute, then I run warm water over a muslin cloth and wash my face with it, I gradually remove the cleanser by rinsing and repeating this step with the muslin cloth until my face is fresh and clean, finally I pat my face dry.
My skin is so refreshed and clear once I have used this product, I am so impressed, I have absolutely no oily areas and my skin feels so soft and supple. My skin has completely cleared up now and I am definitely going to give this product some credit for that! If you are struggling with your skin at the moment and you want to try out a new soap free cleanser then honestly try this one, it is currently on offer for £6 too on the Escentual website. x

Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Face Mask Review ♥

Hellooo! I've had a mad obsession with face masks over the past couple of months.. I have no idea why, however, this Soap and Glory mask is the only one I have tried that I think is worthy of a good review on here!
I have been using this detox mask once a week on the desired areas of my skin which have the most clogged up & oily pores. This mask is the first of its kind I have tried, I found it a little confusing to use at first as you have to apply the mask onto your desired area of skin, then wet your hands and massage it in, I've never had to do this with a mask before, but it works well. It turns a bright blue colour once you've added water, which looks awesome (a new, all the rage, foundation colour for sure.. ha).
This product is aimed at oily/combination skin which is great. It gets rid of pore sebum and also helps to prevent breakouts. This is a self heating mask which is something I love in face masks, it feels like it is actually doing something to my skin! As the face mask starts to cool down it brings a different, cold and tingly sensation to my skin, which feels like the mask is still working it's magic.
This mask gets right down into your pores and cleans out your skin, leaving it feeling very soft, fresh and oil free after you have washed it off with a cloth and warm water. I love the smell this mask has too, it smells like a typical face mask but with a slight fresh difference.
I highly recommend you try this mask, it is worth every penny and a small amount goes a long way!

Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser Review ♥

First of all, the weather here in Scotland is rubbish.. as usual.. and I have like another 3 weeks until I get paid and I want to go shopping in Glasgow but I have no shopping money or travel money! AH :(! Apart from that everything else is fine, my blog is keeping me more and more occupied these days which is great!
As some of you may know, I have had an ongoing love for the brand 'Simple' for a few years now and I am always excited when they introduce new products to their ever growing skincare range.
I have slightly oily/combination skin so I am always on the look out for oil fighting or oil balancing products. I know my skin is 'safe' with Simple so that is why I picked this up. It has a thick consistency when it is first squeezed out of the tube but once you apply it to your skin it evens out nicely. It gives my skin a matte finish once the cream has dried which makes it feel soft and smooth. I have used it as a primer before I apply foundation which seems to work really well. I am pleased with this product and I think that it is starting to balance out my skin, I will definitely be repurchasing it when it runs out.
