January Favourites ♥

MUA Eye Palette - Undressed, Superdrug Mud Mask, Rimmel Match Perfecction - shade 010, Essie - Lights, John Frieda Tone Correcting Shampoo & Conditioner, Collection 2000 Skylash - Ultra Black, Barbara Daly Lipstick - Sugar Candy, Bourjois Liner Feutre - Ultra Black.

Hello! The first month of 2013 is well and truly over, so here is my January favourites. I am snowed in today and couldn't get to work, so a perfect opportunity to catch up on blogs, YouTube, Instagram and write this post! I hope you all had a good month :)!

MUA eye palette - Undressed, I love this palette! all the colours are really pigmented and last all day, I haven't yet invested in a Naked palette but I think the colours in this MUA one are very similar, so this one will do fine for the now! It is a bargain at £4.99 too!

Superdrug Face Mask. I don't use a lot of face masks but when I seen this collection of in Superdrug I thought I would give them a go, I have to say I really enjoyed using this mask, it is thick and smells lovely, it makes your skin feel lovely and soft after you have rinsed it off.

Rimmel London Match Perfection. I have written a review about this foundation (you can read it here) as I absolutely love it! I have put it in my favourites not just because it's my new go to foundation but because Superdrug and Morrison's are doing a deal the now, 2 for £10 which is great, so I am stocked up and just in time too as my previous one was just spitting out it's last drops!

This Essie polish in colour 'Lights' is such a lovely hot pink colour, it goes well with everything. I got this one for £1.99 from Fragrance Direct but this shade isn't featured on the website anymore as it has been updated with new polishes but there is a couple similar ones so you should go check it out anyway!

I got my hair Ombre'd at my work in December and again a week ago as I had a lot of colour build up in my hair so the bleach didn't go as blonde as I had wanted, but this time its a proper blonde and I am really happy with the result!
I was recommended to use John Frieda Color Renew tone correcting shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is purple and this colour takes out any brassy/orange tones from your hair after it has been bleached, since I have used it I can definitely see a lighter tone to my hair which I really like. I have been buying these on offer in Superdrug, 2 for 7.99. So if you have bleached hair then definitely try these I think they are brilliant.

I have seen a lot of people rave about this Collection 2000 mascara since I bought it and I have to agree with everyone as I think it is really good. I have long eyelashes and I sometimes feel that certain mascaras pull them down or weigh them down a bit (if that makes any sense) but with this mascara my eyelashes stay up and in one place all day and don't feel clumpy at all. The wand is a winner for me as one side has short rubber bristles and the other has long rubber bristles. The short are great for smaller lashes on the inner corner of your lash line and the long bristles are good for the all over longer lashes, they are separated and evened out perfectly. I would highly recommend trying out this mascara!

I purchased the Barbara Daly lipstick a few months ago in one of the Tesco Extra stores and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else since. I think this shade is perfect for the winter months as its a very deep berry colour. I wear it with a basic eye look which shows it's colour off really nicely, it is very creamy and lasts a long time and it smells gorgeous!

Finally Bourjois Liner Feutre, I have tried several felt tip liners and none of them have lasted through the day as long as this one does. The nib is thick at the base and goes into a precise thin tip, so you can create thin lines or thick heavy lines. The packaging is well designed and makes it a lot easier to apply liner without a smudge or a stab in the eye!

Have you tried any of these products?
