L'oreal Infallible 24hr Foundation Review ♥

As you read this I will be en route to Ayrshire, let my 3 day, mini break begin! I can't wait to see my Gran and Papa & their Birman cat Buffy (named after Buffy The Vampire Slayer, cool cat) and of course go shopping, Primark and Topshop are calling me! Of course I couldn't forget about my blog whilst I am away so I have typed up this review of my newest foundation for you to have a read of!
I recently ran out of my beloved Revlon Colorstay foundation, so I decided to see what Superdrug had to offer in the form of super pale foundations. I instantly seen this ghostly pale shade under the display lights in the L'oreal stand and thought it looked perfect, it isn't too badly priced either at £8.99!
Each morning I pump out a small amount of foundation onto the back of my hand and then buff it into my face using a Real Techniques Buffing brush. At first this medium/full coverage foundation appears to be the perfect match for my skin tone but as it gradually oxidises it gets slightly darker, I don't notice this problem with my Revlon Colorstay at all. It isn't dramatically different to my skin tone once blusher and bronzer is applied but I notice it on my bare face. This foundation covers up any imperfections nicely, I have no red marks or spots showing through either which is great. I love the finish of this foundation, it looks very dewy & fresh. I have been wearing it every day for about 12 hours, it has lasted really well and doesn't wipe off my face with a slight rub of the nose throughout the day. I would recommend this foundation, just don't expect it to be as pale as it appears in the glass bottle!

  1. That's interesting, that it changes colour. I've never heard of foundation doing that before. Definitely something to keep in mind for future reference!

Hope you have a good time away :) xx

  2. I'd love to try this, it's a shame that it gets too dark though :/

  3. Lovely review! So peculiar that it changes colour, but it looks like a foundation that I'd like to try out soon. Have a lovely time on your break! xxxx
