Life Update: Im Back! | Domestic Abuse | ♥ New Beginnings ♥

Hello! I feel so strange opening my laptop again and typing on here.. it has been too long! I finally have some motivation to start blogging again. The last time I posted on here was in November last year, the reason I have had such a long break from blogging was because I was in a bit of a mess and I needed to make some serious changes to my life.

I was "stuck" in a horrible, both mentally and physically abusive relationship. This relationship had been terrible since day one, I was in it for 4 years, since I was 15. I tried to convince myself it would be okay and it would sort itself out, I was wrong. Things got really bad around May last year, I was so exhausted and fed up. I was having constant battles in my head, mind games, blackmail and lies were just a few of the horrible, mentally draining things I was dealing with on a daily basis from my ex. I had no life whatsoever, I lost contact with so many friends because I wasn't allowed friends, I was constantly being judged wherever I went, I was being cheated on and lied to all the time, I was constantly "looking after" an unemployed, depressed, drunk boyfriend who never failed to disappoint me.

HEY! I hope you're doing well! I feel like I haven't talked to you all in so long.. I have been so busy recently, I have been hanging out with my best  friends, one of which has just left to live in Glasgow :( (so upset), I've been swimming in massive pools and rivers, having BBQ's, having DVD nights with my friends, travelling with my mum and of course working! I have managed to fit in a lot into my spare time which I am really pleased about, I have been getting out in the sunshine whenever I get the chance, so I haven't been posting as much (sorry). Here are a few pictures I would like to share with you all. I am going to take plenty blog post pictures today as I'm off (y a y) so I will be back on track very soon, I have loads of reviews and ideas that I can't wait to share with you all! I hope you like this little update post, let me know what you've been up to! x

5 - The mountain bike world cup is held where I live every year, it is a good event, I love bikes and the atmosphere is always magic, it was amazing to see stunt planes this year too!

6 - There have been some beautiful, bright and vibrant sunsets recently, this one was amazing!

7 & 8 - I dyed my hair (please excuse my bogging mirror in the second picture)!! My hair was not meant to turn out this dark at all but I liked it at the time, I have now attempted to strip my hair 3 times, all of which haven't worked brilliantly and my hair has faded back dark each time! I am getting my hair done on the 6th August though so it will be totally different again, I can't wait!

9 & 10 - A new cafe opened in my high street, it is amazing and it does thee best brownies EVER.

11 & 12 - I have been here twice in the past 2 weeks, it is such a beautiful place to go swimming or just sit and chill at!

Chit Chat - Life Recently ♥

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I haven't written a blog post in a few weeks, ahh! I feel like I've been really busy recently but compared to some people I am pretty sure I've had it easy! I felt like typing up a random chatty post today, so I hope you don't mind. I like reading these posts because I like learning more about the people I follow compared to just reading about beauty and fashion posts all the time and not really getting to know them, is it just me who thinks like that?..

Firstly, I have been working loads more than I normally do. I am only contracted to 12 hours a week but I have only ever done a 12 hour week once, which is great because I enjoy my job and its extra money if I do over 12 hours! I had a 42 hour week a couple of weeks ago, which was great, however, I do lose track of my blog, Instagram & Twitter because I always think about going to work and when I come home from work, I always seem to have something else to do instead! But I will hopefully have more time on my hands soon to get more frequent posts up!

I went away to Glasgow for the day with James, it's safe to say that he will never go to Glasgow with me again if I spend the same amount of time in Primark as I did.. 2 and a half hours to be exact, oops! I knew I had spent a lot of money when the lady who served me asked, "So how much do you think you've spent today?.." my reply was obviously going to be "I can't even imagine" I spent £200 but I got loads for it! Plenty tartan print items, knitted jumpers, jackets, boots and loads more! I had a lovely day but I was very tired by the end of it.

The most exciting thing that is happening at the moment is I am going to be moving into a new & much bigger room in my house, so I am picking all new furniture, flooring, & decor, it's so exciting and I can't wait for it to be finished! Once it is all done, I will have new and prettier backgrounds to take blogpost pictures in, which I find exciting!

I hope I haven't bored you too much with this post, but I thought some of you would like to know where I have been recently! I have a few blogposts coming up shortly so keep your eyes peeled for them :)!

Cath Kidston Rose Hand Cream

Hello everyone:)!

I have just finished my first induction day in my new job, I think I am going to like working in Tesco, everyone in my store is so friendly so far which is good! I am home now and in my lounge bottoms and a hoodie feeling cosy! I hope you all have had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend!

I recently bought this hand cream from TK Maxx when me and my mum went shopping for the day, it was reduced from £8 to just £3! So I quickly chucked it in my mums shopping basket. My hands have been very dry recently and nothing has been working on them, even my trusty Soap and Glory Hand Food hasn't been doing the trick, so I was hoping this cream was going to save my hands and it has! I love the smell of it and it sinks into your hands quickly without them feeling oily, which is such a bonus and to top it all off it smells lovely, exactly like fresh cut roses! So if you are near a TK Maxx then go in and try and see if you can find it, bargain!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the constant changing weather! It has been really sunny where I stay the past few weeks which is a change because we have rain constantly as I live beside Ben Nevis (the UK's highest mountain) and it attracts all the horrible weather! 

I have been pretty busy recently. I've been applying for jobs as the salon I have been working at is becoming quieter again and I'm not needed as much :/ but I had an interview with my local Tesco store last week with 4 other people and after our interview there was another group being interviewed altogether there was about 8 people applying for a position and I got the job! I am delighted, I will be working at the customer service desk which should be interesting. It isn't the most glamorous job in the world but it gets me money and good money at that! I love working with the public and helping people out so I am really pleased. 

I will be making more scheduled posts on my days off so my blog doesn't become abandoned! 

I am also going to start my driving lessons again with a new instructor so I can get that out of the way, I have been driving my car a lot more so when I have lessons I will just need to polish up a couple things then hopefully pass my test.

yaaaay, thankyou all so much for following my blog I now have 100 followers :) I have went from 4 followers in November to 100 now, I am so happy! I know to some people that isn't much but it is to me:). 

 I hope you are all having a good day! I am listening to spotify the now and about to play The Sims 3.. as usual! I am addicted seriously. I really want the new university expansion pack! aghh haha anyways I just wanted to say thank you, each one of you mean a lot to me:)! xo
