February Favourites ♥

For once I actually feel like February has been a long month, considering it's the shortest month in the year that doesn't make perfect sense but hey ho. I have been loving a few things this month but here are a round up of my absolute favourites.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose Perfume - £24.99

I love the musky, rose/fruity fragrance this perfume has. I am terrible at describing perfumes but I have been loving this one. It is very soft and it lasts all day on me. I think the pretty bottle fits in nicely to my little perfume collection too!

Barry M Nail polish Limited Edition 'Silver Lights' - £3.99

I love the Iridescent sparkles in this polish, it is so pretty and it really stands out on my nails. It needs about 3/4 coats to achieve a full glitter application, which I don't mind, although, it is annoying if it smudges and I have to start over again! *sigh*

Topshop Lipstick 'Depth' - £8

I have a blog post coming up about this beautiful lipstick with swatches, so keep a look out for that! I am so happy I have managed to find the perfect dark purple lipstick. It is so pretty and it looks great with very little makeup on my eyes!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - £8.99

I have a full review on this brush here. This is my first face brush from the Real Techniques collection. I am so impressed! It gives my skin a flawless soft look after I have blended and buffed in my foundation, none of the bristles fall out and the hairs are super soft and gentle on my skin. I don't tend to enjoy using brushes to apply my foundation but this brush makes it effortless.

QVS Eyeliner Brush - £1.99

I've been needing a new gel eyeliner brush for a while! So of course I had a look on good ol' eBay and I found the perfect one! The bristles are so thin which makes gel eyeliner application so easy. I can achieve a thin straight line first time. So if you are looking for a new eyeliner brush then definitely check out this eBay seller!

Hello Kitty iPad Case - £9.59

I wanted my iPad to look a bit more girly and pretty so I had to get this iPad case! It's very thick so it protects my entire iPad. I love the colours and the stand it has. It is a brilliant price too!

My Little Pony Pyjama Joggers - £6? Primark

I've been lounging about in these joggers all month, they are so comfy and cute! I am loving the amount of lounge wear Primark has at the moment! It is definitely worth a look!

How cute and cosy does my cat Magick look? She's an every month, all year, every year favourite of mine! and of course my German Shepherd Ruby too!

Sweater Weather Is Better Weather

Hello everyone!

It's Friday woohoo! I hope you've all had a good week. I have been feeling very wintery and Christmassy this week, I blame my work which has been completely Christmas over hauled and the cold frosty weather outside! I have done most of my Christmas shopping already, I feel pretty organised this year, are you?

Chit Chat - Life Recently ♥

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I haven't written a blog post in a few weeks, ahh! I feel like I've been really busy recently but compared to some people I am pretty sure I've had it easy! I felt like typing up a random chatty post today, so I hope you don't mind. I like reading these posts because I like learning more about the people I follow compared to just reading about beauty and fashion posts all the time and not really getting to know them, is it just me who thinks like that?..

Firstly, I have been working loads more than I normally do. I am only contracted to 12 hours a week but I have only ever done a 12 hour week once, which is great because I enjoy my job and its extra money if I do over 12 hours! I had a 42 hour week a couple of weeks ago, which was great, however, I do lose track of my blog, Instagram & Twitter because I always think about going to work and when I come home from work, I always seem to have something else to do instead! But I will hopefully have more time on my hands soon to get more frequent posts up!

I went away to Glasgow for the day with James, it's safe to say that he will never go to Glasgow with me again if I spend the same amount of time in Primark as I did.. 2 and a half hours to be exact, oops! I knew I had spent a lot of money when the lady who served me asked, "So how much do you think you've spent today?.." my reply was obviously going to be "I can't even imagine" I spent £200 but I got loads for it! Plenty tartan print items, knitted jumpers, jackets, boots and loads more! I had a lovely day but I was very tired by the end of it.

The most exciting thing that is happening at the moment is I am going to be moving into a new & much bigger room in my house, so I am picking all new furniture, flooring, & decor, it's so exciting and I can't wait for it to be finished! Once it is all done, I will have new and prettier backgrounds to take blogpost pictures in, which I find exciting!

I hope I haven't bored you too much with this post, but I thought some of you would like to know where I have been recently! I have a few blogposts coming up shortly so keep your eyes peeled for them :)!

Plaid and Simple ♥

Hello! I am absolutely loving this seasons patterns! Ahh they are right up my street, I have an edgy/grungy style and all of these pieces are just perfect! I wouldn't be brave enough to wear them together though.. but I will definitely be buying most of this stuff when I go to Glasgow on a shopping trip! Woo! I've caved in and bought the Topshop jacket already, it is my new favourite, I LOVE it!

Primark SS13 - My Favourites

These are a few of my favourite things I have found so far from the new spring/summer range at Primark. I don't necessarily agree with the combination of all these items of clothing, as one whole outfit, but I presume they are worn that way because it is the only way to show off the new line.

I hope you enjoy looking my favourites!

My favourite look out of the lot is the dungarees I looooove them! I have been looking for a really good pair of dungarees for ages and I think I have found them! I really think dungarees will be on trend this spring/summer so definitely go and grab yourself a pair! I would team them up with a cropped top like they have done in the picture, I think that looks really pretty! 

I couldn't do this post without putting the cat top in too! I love it so much, I definitely NEED to buy it!

Whats In My Bag?

 I love reading these posts, so I hope you like them too! I just love seeing what other people have in their bags, you can learn a lot about the person by just seeing the contents of their bag I think.. 

Well, this is my bag, I am sure you have seen it on YouTubers videos and blog posts before, I just couldn't resist it when I seen it the first time on YouTube. I got mine from eBay if you type in 'studded leather bag' or 'studded barrel bag' there should be different versions available. I need a big bag because I carry a lot of junk.. but I always need the 'junk' at some point, I like to be organised! This bag is huge so it is perfect for me.

Hand Maid Sanitizer from Soap and Glory is THEE nicest smelling hand sanitizer ever. I usually purchase this along with the mini 'hand food' and body butter whenever there is a 3 for 2 in boots as they are only 2.50 each and one free obviously. I can't be anywhere without hand sanitizer as the thought of germs makes me feel eughhh! I hate public transport, door handles, shopping trollies, restaurants, the list goes on. 

I have never liked the really chemically smell from most hand sanitizers ad I had been on the hunt for one that smelled fresh but not over powering and I have finally found it!

 Body spray for when I cant be bothered spraying perfume all over me. Tissues because I usually always need them, not particularly for my nose but I always manage to spill something or have a smudge of makeup somewhere. 

'Hand Food' is something I love carrying because I love the smell of it and I need it to use on my hands in this cold frosty weather!

I got this mini hand warmer for my Christmas, I love it! I have cold hands all the time, even on hot summer days, my hands are frozen! So this hand warmer is brilliant! It comes with its own knitted case and everything. There is a metal element inside that you snap and it instantly warms up and holds a heat for quite a long time, to reuse it you just put it in a pan of boiling water for about 10 minutes. 

I like carrying this coin purse because I usually get tips from clients in my work so I put them in this coin purse to put into my money tin when I get home. 

A bobble! I always loose bobbles so I try and always have one in my bag! 

Chewing gum kind of explains itself.

 My phone.. I couldn't live without my phone. It is the HTC one x, I am a bit of a tech geek so I love having high performance phones and this one is the best I have had yet, I have everything on it, my favourite app has to be instagram! my username is @magickruby. 

I nicked this purse off my mum, it is a Suzy smith one and I love the size of it! I find the Suzy Smith purses are always really good quality. It has my ID, bank card and money and random stuff in it.

I always carry perfume. I love the smell of this one which is 'Loverdose' by Diesel, it smells of liquorice and a mix of other things, I would recommend giving it a spray next time you are in a perfume shop. 

I always hit my nails off of something so I need my nail file, I got this case with a set of files from Primark which is useful because it stops the emery board scratching anything else in my bag. 

I always take blog notes, blog ideas and lists of things so I like to carry this basic notepad about. 

Finally my new hamster phone cover, I have never had a hamster but I like them so my brother decided to get me this as part of my Christmas, my phone doesnt fit into many phone socks as it is far too big but this one was specifically for my phone size and I love it, it protects it really well and is spongy so nothing hits off of it.
