Eyeshadow & Lip Colour Palette - RRP £28 (currently both £14) - Escentual*
I was recently sent these pretty palettes from Emma at Escentual. They have both got such beautiful packaging and a gorgeous range of highly pigmented colours.
The eye palette is so versatile, it can be used to create a soft natural look or a smoky, night out look. All of these bold shades are full of colour and are very pigmented.
I have been loving using the shimmery shades with the matte shades. The bottom left bronze/gold shade and the top middle pink shade are my favourites at the moment, they are perfect on their own or softly blended together for a simple bronzed summer look. I am very impressed with this palette and I have noticed that a lot of these shades are similar textures and colours in the Naked 2 palette.
Moving onto the lip palette, I don't usually find myself using an awful lot of pink and red lipsticks but this palette has changed that. Every single one of these beautiful soft shades are brilliant for every day use. I have been loving using the brown and nude shades, however the pink shades are very wearable too. I thought these colours would be more like a light wash of colour, however, I was wrong, each one of these are just as pigmented as a normal lipstick bullet is. The colour pay off is instant and each one lasts a good couple of hours. The white, shimmery shade in the top left corner is for using over the lipsticks you have already applied, to turn them into a frosty shade instead of a bold colour. I love this idea and it works very well! I like the way these lipsticks sink into my lips and don't feel sticky or thick, they smell wonderful too!
I am very impressed with both of these palettes, I had never heard of Anna Sui before, but now I have, I am intrigued to try more!

I love the colours of the eye palette. The lip palette colours are GORGEOUS but I don't really like glosses!

Such gorgeous shades!
ReplyDeleteThe eyeshadow palette looks like something that should be in my collection. Lip palettes don't really do it for me but the colours in this one (especially the bottom middle pink) are all right up my street.
