Hey! Another month is over.. SO glad it is July now because I am going to London on the 26th, eeeek! I'm so excited! I hope you have had a good month, here are my lovely advertisers this month, I hope you enjoy looking through their blogs as much as I do :).

"On a dark night last September, I was finally convinced to set up a blog. A long-term pal of mine had been saying for ages, 'ooooh Bean' you need to write about all these lovely/and not so lovely things you try.  You see I had quite a stash of products, it was more like a small shop, certainly not an every day makeup bag.  It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I'm documenting life, sharing products I love and don't love so much, meeting wonderful bloggers and enjoying the whole community spirit. Plus I'm hopefully looking a little better (after all that testing).

If you want to join my journey and 'full of Bean's' blog, please subscribe it would mean the world to this ditzy, fun-loving, blonde Bean."

"Hey guys! My name is Alex and I have a blog named "Prettythoughtsx". I currently work as a Retail Apprentice at Next and hope to go into Visual Merchandising! I've not been blogging for very long, only a few months but I really do love it. It's mainly Beauty and Fashion related - however I do the odd post on fun things I do aka travelling! Come say Hi sometime :-)"
"Hi, my name is Sophiia (yes I spelt it right, don't judge!) and my little blog is Beauty By Sophiia. Its not a very original title, I know, but I'm heavily pregnant so blame it on the baby-brain. I blog about anything beauty related that catches my eye, and sometimes I like to dabble in a bit of fashion. I also post about my pregnancy and will be featuring more of my son in the coming months, so keep an eye out if you love photos of adorably dressed toddlers! I like to write honest reviews, so you'll never get a load of mindless twaddle from me - brownie promise. Speaking of which I'm also getting into posting recipes soon, once I've cracked my ultimate cupcake. So that's what I'm all about, take a look at my blog if you like the sounds of it, and comment too! I love reading and replying comments, I like new friends :) Much love, Sophiia x"

Elf Eye shadow Primer

Hey hey hey! Can any of you guess what my most used makeup brand is at the moment... Elf.. I buy far too much from their website! I have been looking for a good eyeshadow primer for a while now. I love the sound of the Urban Decay Primer Potion but I honestly can't justify the price of it so I opted for something cheaper.. Elf to the rescue! I have tried loads of high street eyeshadow primers, none of which have lasted all day and haven't creased. This is the first one I have used that has lasted all day and given my eyeshadow a solid base & made the shades appear more vibrant and true to colour. I have this in the shade 'sheer' Elf do a couple more colours to which would be great for using on their own with some eyeliner if you wanted to. So if you are stuck for an eyeshadow primer then definitely try this one out, it is a complete bargain and my absolute favourite primer so far!

Elf Cream Blush ♥

Hey gals! I recently bought a few things from Elf and took advantage of their offer that gives you their spring collection worth £20 for free if you spend £20 or more! I'm not sure if the offer is still on but you should have a look! I got this studio cream blush as part of the collection, I'm really glad I did because I don't tend to buy blushers, never mind cream blushers. I love this shade, it matches my skin tone perfectly and gives me a nice rosy glow. It is more like a soft mousse than a cream, however, I like this as I find it easier to apply as it applies matt instead of shimmery.
Have you tried any of Elf's cream blushers? xo

Bourjois Color Edition 24H ♥

Bourjois Color Edition - £6.99 Each* 05 Prune Nocturne & Beige Constellation

I have never tried any cream eye shadow's before so for me these were the perfect ones to get started with! I love both colours and they look great together too. They are super pigmented and have a lovely two tone effect. I like to use the silver shade all over my eyelid with the burgundy shade in the outer corner, blended into my crease. They are also brilliant to use as eyeshadow primers, they last all day and keep my eyeshadow in place. I have also noticed when I have one of these products on my eyelids as a base, my gel eyeliner applies a lot more smoothly and doesn't drag across my eye. Any one of these cream eye shadow's look great blended into my eyelids with a flick of gel eyeliner along my lashline. If you are looking for a quick but yet effective eyeshadow for every day use then definitely try these out!

Simple Perfecting Beauty Balm Review ♥

Hellooo, I have a pretty negative product review today. I think it's good to keep a mix of good and bad reviews on my blog, so that people with similar skin tones to me know what they are getting with a product.
I am a huge fan of all of Simple's products but this one definitely isn't one I am going to be adding to my favourites any time soon. I have been looking for the perfect, light BB cream for a while now but it just doesn't seem to exist! I seen this one on offer in Superdrug a couple of weeks ago for £4.49, I thought it was the perfect time to try it as my skin was pretty clear and I wanted to wear less foundation on a daily basis. I looked through all of the boxes on the shelf to find the lightest shade, however, I was surprised to see that they all had the same 'universal shade' on the front of every box. I was confused at how one shade could possibly fit everyone, however, I still bought it.
I was shocked at how orange this BB cream was when I first squeezed it out of the tube. I applied it on top of my moisturiser with my Real Techniques expert face brush (review here), and buffed it into my skin. My face instantly turned orange and I could still see every little mark left from previous spots. I tried blending it down my neck to make it look a bit better which didn't work. I think this BB cream would only be best used if you fake tan and have a glow about your skin all the time, otherwise it is going to totally mismatch your skintone and make you look like a tangerine. I was really really disappointed in this BB cream as Simple are such a brilliant skincare brand. Maybe makeup isn't their strong point just yet, but I am hopeful that they will bring out a better BB cream in the future!
Have you tried this BB cream?
