Eye's Of The World ♥

Hellooo, as I type this post I am watching/listening to Vampire Diaries on Netflix and munching on a Malteaster Bunny! YUM! What have you been up to today? I hope you like this outfit post, I absolutely love this cropped sweatshirt, it is awesome and so random. Oh! and the title of this post is inspired by my favourite song EVER Eyes Of The World by Fleetwood Mac (basically the only band I ever seem to listen to!), comment below if you like Fleetwood Mac too! :) xo

Magick ♥

Hey hey chicas! I hope you are all having a good day, did you know cat's are this seasons newest fashion accessory? Go get one now! (I kid, but seriously I need more cats in my life, I am not too sure how Magick feels about being a fashion accessory though..) how red does my hair look in these pictures?! This is my natural hair colour if any of you are wondering. SO many people ask me what hair dye I use to get it this colour but I'm afraid to say its just au natural! I used to have blonde ombre a year ago, the majority of it has been cut out and faded, however, the sun in these pictures make it look like I have it back!

Simple Perfecting Beauty Balm Review ♥

Hellooo, I have a pretty negative product review today. I think it's good to keep a mix of good and bad reviews on my blog, so that people with similar skin tones to me know what they are getting with a product.
I am a huge fan of all of Simple's products but this one definitely isn't one I am going to be adding to my favourites any time soon. I have been looking for the perfect, light BB cream for a while now but it just doesn't seem to exist! I seen this one on offer in Superdrug a couple of weeks ago for £4.49, I thought it was the perfect time to try it as my skin was pretty clear and I wanted to wear less foundation on a daily basis. I looked through all of the boxes on the shelf to find the lightest shade, however, I was surprised to see that they all had the same 'universal shade' on the front of every box. I was confused at how one shade could possibly fit everyone, however, I still bought it.
I was shocked at how orange this BB cream was when I first squeezed it out of the tube. I applied it on top of my moisturiser with my Real Techniques expert face brush (review here), and buffed it into my skin. My face instantly turned orange and I could still see every little mark left from previous spots. I tried blending it down my neck to make it look a bit better which didn't work. I think this BB cream would only be best used if you fake tan and have a glow about your skin all the time, otherwise it is going to totally mismatch your skintone and make you look like a tangerine. I was really really disappointed in this BB cream as Simple are such a brilliant skincare brand. Maybe makeup isn't their strong point just yet, but I am hopeful that they will bring out a better BB cream in the future!
Have you tried this BB cream?

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Review ♥

Hello! I GOT A NEW CAMERA! It's the Nikon D3200 DSLR, I am in love with it, I'm really enjoying exploring all the different features it has. I hope you like my pictures in this post, I am sure they will get better as time goes on, once I suss out the different aspects of my camera!
I have been loving using this RT brush. I haven't used any other RT brushes apart from the eyeshadow ones so this was brand new for me. I'm so so impressed! I usually use Cosmopolitan's beauty blender (review here) to apply and blend out my foundation, so I wasn't too sure how I would get on with a brush again. I used to use stippling brushes but I hated the finish they give my makeup, I always seem to have loads of brush strokes left on my face which need blended in with a beauty blender and I find they make my foundation cakey. However because this brush has such dense bristles it manages to pack on all the colour I need and buff out my foundation flawlessly onto my skin. I am so impressed with it, none of the bristles fall out and it leaves my skin looking 'real' and smooth. If you haven't tried this brush then I highly recommend you do! Its amazing!

What's your favourite Real Techniques brush? xo

Celebrity Style - Cara Delevingne ♥

I am sure everyone has heard of the gorgeous Cara Delevingne. She is my absolute favourite model, I love how quirky she is and how a lot of teens can relate to her style, I have a mixed style and whenever I see her in a denim or checked shirt and a basic tee paired with black skinnys and a beanie I feel chuffed because that is a look I would throw together. A lot of models are all about class and elegance and not a lot of people can relate to them unless they are millionaires and can afford the mega fancy dresses and heels but Cara pulls off both looks, she definitely has a grungy street style but she also has another side to her (with less crazy faces) where she pulls off such gorgeous dresses and elegant outfits! I feel she is definitely going far and she is March's cover model of Vogue UK! I cannot wait to buy it! I hope you like these pictures I have found. I love all these outfits and I am sure there is plenty high street stores that will offer you similar clothing!

Company Magazine

I usually don't buy many magazines because I think most of them are just full of utter crap, I am not a person who is interested in reading about about who stole who's cat and about everyone's sex lives. But I had decided to buy Company magazine before they changed their new look last February and I didn't really enjoy reading through it, it seemed very typical and boring. Then they changed their cover and the entire style of the magazine, I instantly was drawn to it on the magazine shelf in the supermarket. I bought it without realising it was the same magazine that I had read a few months previous. I love Company magazine now and I have had to buy it every single month, since March last year. Absolutely everything in it interests me. They write about beauty, makeup, fashion, blogging, tutorials, nail art and they always have interviews with young and interesting people, it has no silly 'real life' stories and 'awkward' to read stories. I might just be odd but I love the fact I can leave company magazine lying around the house without worrying if any of my wee cousins pick it up and read something they shouldn't. I am going to subscribe after this months issue as I think it is easier than trying to find it in a shop in my town (which seems to be the last to get any magzines!).

This months issue is £2.50 and in some places £1.25 so I suggest you go and pick one up before they all disappear!

What do you think of Company magzine? : )

My questions from Natalie:

What made you start blogging and when?
From reading The Youtube Guru's beauty and fashion blogs (especially Zoe's www.zoella.co.uk) I was inspired instantly and then realised I could do it for myself too!

What's your favourite/least favourite thing about the blogger community?
My favourite thing about the blogger community is finding other girls blogs just like mine, we are all just starting out and trying to get known, I like the fact that I am not the only one without hundreds of followers. My least favourite thing about the blogger community is how hard it is to get known and how long it takes.

What's your life ambition?
My life ambition is to be happy, plain and simple but if I am happy I can do so much more and try lots of new things.

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
New York! It's so amazing and just think about all the shopping you could do there!..

What is your favourite time of the year and why?
Autumn/Winter because the fashion is so lovely, I love layering up and wearing big jumpers and scarves!  I hate being cold but I love the look of frost and snow outside. I also like it because it is the festive season!

What is a beauty product you couldn't live without?
Mascara! I have long eyelashes so mascara helps me show them off.

Favourite film?
I can't pick between these two.. so,'Drive' and 'LOL'

How did you design your blog?
Through trial and error, I had a basic idea about HTML from studying it in high school so that was an advantage.

How many times do you write new blogposts?
Whenever I feel like it, I don't have a routine at the moment because I am always busy, but I will be writing more frequently soon.

What are your favourite subjects to write posts about and also to read about on other blogs?

Beauty for writing about. Homestyle, beauty, fashion, hauls and crafty posts to read about.

What is your happiest memory?
one of my happiest memories was getting my big fluff ball of a puppy!

            New Year again!

Everyone always has New Years resolutions, like 'don't eat so much junk food', 'get fitter', 'keep everything neat and tidy' 'do better in school'.. the list goes on but I think that for me, my New Years resolution is to just be happier, not think so much about future at all and just live for the now and not over think life. I think that to start the year and go onto deciding to go to the gym more and keep healthy you need to have a strong and stress free head, because then you can be ready for new things and take each day as it comes. I hope everyone has a lovely New Year and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, feel free to link any Christmas/NewYear posts you have done on your blog below:)! x

What is your New Years resolution? :)
