Autumn/Winter 2014 Dark Lipsticks ♥

I have tried so many different dark lipsticks over the last couple of years, some are pinky/red and some are deep plum, it's so hard to find the perfect shade. I have picked my four favourites to show you. I hope this helps you find your perfect dark lipstick for this Autumn and Winter.
MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer - £3
This is by far my favourite dark lipstick. It has a matte/velvet effect which looks great with minimal makeup on my eyes. Every time I have worn it on a night out I have had lots of compliments on it. The colour is beautiful.
Revlon 477 Black Cherry - £7.49
This is a redish/pink lipstick. It has a nice colour but I expected it to be darker than it is. It lasts about 1/2 hours without needing to reapply.
Collection Gothic Glam "scorned" - £2.99
This lipstick is great for the price, it lasts quite a while and the colour pay off is brilliant. It also leaves my lips feeling soft and not dried out like other lipsticks I have tried in the past.
Topshop "depth" - £8
I love the deep colour of this lipstick, it has a beautiful soft velvety finish which looks great with matte makeup. It lasts most of the day on my lips and it leaves them feeling moisturised.

Hello Autumn, I'm Back!

Hello! I am back from my totally unplanned blogging break.
I have been really busy over the past couple of months, so I haven't found the time to blog or take pictures in day light.
I recently started a Fashion Design course at my college, I love it. I never really enjoyed sewing and making clothes in high school but now I really enjoy it. I have to make a skirt before Christmas, so I will keep you updated on how it is coming along. I would like to do a post about my course at some point, so if you would like to read that then let me know. I have been working most days and pretty much every day after college too, so 3 days a week my day starts at 7am for college and ends at 9pm when I finish my shift at work, I don't mind but it has definitely affected my blog. I will try harder to get blog pictures taken on my full days off. I have also had my hair dip dyed again so it is back to blonde on the bottom which I really like for this time of year. I hope you are all well, I have taken lots of blog pictures today so I will have some beauty posts up over the next few days. Thanks for sticking with me while I have been away :) x
p.s how cosy does Magick look lying in front of the fire!

Boho Moon Jewellery ♥

Boho Moon is an on trend jewellery company which has a huge range of beautiful hand made pieces. I noticed the other day on their twitter page they were having a £1 sale, which I couldn't say no to! I thought you would love to see the things I got!
This is my favourite ring, it is adjustable and it looks really pretty on my hands.
Rainbow Fluorite Ring - £1 in sale
Unfortunately this ring is now sold out but I am sure there will be more in stock soon or an alternative. I love the pretty rainbow colours in this ring. It adjusts to the size of my fingers which is great.
I have wanted an amethyst stone necklace for so long and this one is perfect. I decided to get it in a  black shoe lace style choker to make it a bit different to all the other amethyst necklaces I have seen.

My products arrived in a lovely bright purple parcel, each in individual little draw string bags, with pretty star & moon sequins dusted inside the purple tissue paper that was holding it all together, I thought this was a nice touch!
Boho Moon have kindly created me a 10% discount code for you guys to use on their site, all you have to do is enter it at the checkout before you buy your items. So if you're looking for new, on trend necklaces, rings, chokers or bracelets then definitely check them out, I have a list of things I want to buy from there again, they really do have some beautiful pieces which will bling up any outfit!

Discount Code: NATALIE10

Have you bought anything from Boho Moon before?
p.s. I'm going to London in 2 days, I'm SO excited, I can't wait to blog about my trip and everything I get up to!

Models Own Velvet Goth Polishes ♥

Models Own Velvet Goth - Purple 'Amethyst', Black 'Obsidain' £5 each

I thought I would share my current favourite nail polishes with you all, I have been loving wearing these two polishes over the past couple of months. They last about 4/5 days without any chips and they have such a lovely soft velvety finish. The purple shade has got to be my favourite, it is so vibrant and the sparkles through it are a lovely pinky/purple colour. The black shade matches everything I wear and it looks great with the velvet finish. The bottles these polishes come in are so cool, I love the velvet lids, nice touch!
Have you tried any of the polishes in the Models Own Velvet Goth range?

Let's Get Social ♥

Hello! I thought I would write a different kind of post today, I would say this is another blogging tip post, one of the more exciting and productive tips I could give any blogger, two words.. SOCIAL MEDIA! I have had so many brilliant opportunities arise from social media, such as Twitter, Instagram and Lookbook.
Twitter
In my opinion Twitter should be every Blogger's wing man (or wing woman?... whatever). Personally, it has been the best way of getting myself noticed and getting some credit for my blog posts, even from the brands I am writing about. If you don't have a Twitter account for your blog then I highly recommend you create one, it takes seconds to set up and once you get going it is so easy to keep on top of. Even if you just post general day to day tweets, witty tweets or just about your latest blog posts, it is a great way to widen your audience and show off your personality to everyone. Since having twitter I have won competitions by simply retweeting and favouriting companies tweets. I have even had companies contact me and tell me how much they have loved my latest blog posts about their products and offered me to review some products for them.
Just remember to keep a border line, nobody likes it when people keep tweeting and demanding attention to their blog every 5 minutes, if your tweet gets noticed, great, if not, don't give up just keep doing what your doing, you'll get noticed eventually! Another great thing about Twitter is you meet so many lovely people through it, I have become friends with quite a few bloggers recently, it's great, everyone has the same interests and ideas.
Instagram
I don't use my Instagram as much for my blog, I don't have my blog linked in it as nobody from my town knows it exists, however, I still put up most of my blog pictures and have it linked on my blog page. I love it for following my favourite fashion and beauty bloggers and letting you all see parts of my life which aren't just beauty products.

Here are all my social media links, don't forget to add yours in the comments below, I love seeing all your Instagram's and Tumblr's!

The Perfect Pair ♥

&

Hello, I hope you are having a good week! I mentioned this gorgeous Revlon nail polish in a monthly favourites a while ago (view it here) and I am still in love with it. It has the perfect mix of purple and black sparkly flakes, suitable for any occasion in my opinion. I need about 3/4 coats to get a full opaque colour but it dries fairly quick so this isn't a problem. It lasts ages on its own but paired with this Orly top coat it lasts even longer, with an added super high shine finish. When I combine these two polishes on my nails I feel as if I have a thick layer of uv gel polish on and I know I can forget about painting my nails for at least a week before I get my first chip, perfect for those busy weeks where there just isn't any time to paint my nails *sigh*. I hope you liked this post, I am really impressed with Orly's nail polishes, they never seem to disappoint, definitely worth spending that little bit extra! xo
